A demo that I decided to use for the C Sides album. Recorded sometime in 2014 at home on the 8 track and mixed with Jarod Evans at Blackwatch Studios. I wrote the song hanging out at my sister's apartment while visiting her in Oakland in September of 2013. I was missing our family, my son was five at the time and I hadn't been away from him much. I was awakened by all of the voices through the walls of her apartment complex, went for a walk around Lake Merritt, and the song came to me. I sang the idea into my phone when I got back so I wouldn't forget the tune.
